Why is cardio key?


The most important element of exercise when it comes down to wellbeing. There is a myth about cardio and having to run or ride a bike for hours on end. Cardiovascular exercise means increasing capacity of heart and lungs. Exercising at a moderate intensity for a duration of time that will increase your heart rate, as your h/r increases you are able to transport more oxygenated blood around your body to your vital organs and muscles as well as burn more calories. You can actually do cardio exercises with weights, kettlebells and sand bags to name a few.
